Plain version: we collect the few things we need to send you your report and run the shop, we keep them safe, and we never sell them. Here is the detail.
Who we are
Data Daily is a publication and digital shop about using data and AI well in business. Data Daily is a trading name of Evidence Informed Practice (ABN [to be added]). In this policy, "we", "us" and "Data Daily" mean Evidence Informed Practice. You can reach us any time at hello@datadaily.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you start the scorecard or buy something.
- Your scorecard inputs: your role, your type of business, and your answers, so we can work out and send your result.
- Order details when you buy: what you bought and when. Your card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store them.
- Basic, non-identifying usage information (like which page sent you), to understand what is working.
Why we use it
- To create and email you your personalised scorecard report.
- To deliver anything you buy and help if something goes wrong.
- To send you occasional, useful emails about reading your numbers and using AI well. You can unsubscribe from any of these at any time.
- To improve the scorecard and the products.
Who helps us run it
We use a small number of trusted services to operate. They only handle your information to do their job for us:
- Kit stores our email list and sends our email sequences.
- Resend sends your report and your download emails.
- Stripe takes payment securely.
- Vercel hosts the website.
Some of these providers store information on servers outside Australia. By using Data Daily you understand your information may be handled overseas under those providers' own safeguards.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from our emails using the link at the bottom of any email.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@datadaily.app.
Keeping it safe
We keep your information only as long as we need it, and we rely on the security of the established providers above. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top. For anything you are unsure about, just email us.
